Delete your account

SYM (Save Your Money) by Skivelane Limited. You can delete your account and data at any time.

In the app

1. Open SYM and go to your Profile.
2. Scroll to Account data.
3. Tap Delete account and confirm.

By email

Email [email protected] from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my SYM account”. We delete everything listed below within 30 days and confirm by email.

What we delete

• Your SYM account and sign-in (Apple, Google or email)
• Your profile
• Your synced goals, challenges, savings history and streaks
• Your sessions and devices registered for notifications
• The notes Penny keeps to personalise answers, if you ask by email

What is kept

• Purchase records held by Apple, Google and RevenueCat, which they keep for tax and refunds
• Crash reports in Firebase Crashlytics, kept for up to 90 days and not linked to your name
• Aggregated usage statistics in Firebase Analytics that no longer identify you

Data stored only on your phone is removed when you delete the app. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription: cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions first.
